Alan Sikarskie

Vice President & General Manager

Alan joined the Quantic Electronics team in 2023 and is currently the Vice President & General Manager of the company’s Quantic BEI Business Unit in Maumelle, AR. He has extensive aerospace and defense experience, leadership roles at Greiner AG, Parker Aerospace, Elbit Systems and GE Aviation. Alan’s career began in the United States Air Force, where he worked as an avionics specialist, and he continued his service as a Naval Officer in the USN Reserves, designated as an Aerospace Maintenance Duty Officer. 

Prior to joining Quantic, Alan held the position of President at Bureau Veritas, overseeing the company’s commodity testing businesses. 

Alan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science in Industrial Technology & Management from Ferris State University, along with an MBA from Western Michigan University. He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and has completed executive development programs at the University of Texas Austin and University of California Berkeley. 

John T. Beasley

Chief Engineer

John Beasley is the Chief Engineer for Quantic BEI. In his 20+ years at BEI PSSC, Mr. Beasley has also served as Systems Engineering Manager from 2014 to 2017, Engineering Manager from 2004 to 2014, Space Program Manager from 2002 to 2004, Space Project Engineer from 2000 to 2002, and Electronics Design Engineer from 1998 to 2000. Under these titles, he has been responsible for product development, product design maintenance, internal R&D projects, technical infrastructure development, customer interface, program planning, program performance, and for detailed circuit design and analysis for space encoder products. He has been recognized by numerous customers for his accomplishments solving complex, multi-disciplinary problems.

Mr. Beasley came to BEI PSSC from Raytheon (formerly Texas Instruments Defense Group) in Dallas, Texas, where he was a Systems Engineer on military infrared and visible-light systems for use in threat warning, target detection and recognition, target tracking, fire control and missile flight control. He has been published in the Texas Instruments Technical Journal on the performance modeling of Forward Looking Infra-Red (FLIR) systems.

Mr. Beasley holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction in Physics from Hendrix College and a Master of Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Arkansas.

David N. Dam

Vice President Programs

David joined Quantic BEI in March of 2005 as a Program Manager. David came to Quantic BEI after previous engineering experience with Rockwell Collins as a Hardware Design Engineer as well as a Senior Electrical Engineer.

While at Quantic BEI, David has held the positions of Deputy Program Manager, Program Manager, Senior Program Manager, Director of Military Programs and Sales Administration. David is currently the VP of Programs and help manages both Space and Military programs.

Eric G. Forstner

Vice President of Business Development

Eric has thirty-six years of experience in business development.  He has held various BD positions with Data Device Corporation, Cobham Microwave Electronics, Rodelco Electronics, most recently as Director of Business Development with Harris Corporation.

Mr. Forstner holds a BSEE from New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA from The Polytechnic Institute of New York University.  He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Association of the United States Army (AUSA).

Dianne Haven

Vice President Human Resources

Dianne has more than 30 years of Human Resource experience. Before joining Quantic BEI, she held the positions at various leadership roles for two Fortune 100 and one Fortune 500 company. Besides Human Resources, she has held responsibility for Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Employee Relations, Security, Health, Safety & Environmental, Labor Relations and Public Relations in multiple industries and in multiple countries. Dianne holds a BS in Psychology and Business from Mississippi College.

Angela D. Kim

Vice President, Operations

Angela joined Quantic BEI in February of this year as is the Vice President of BEI manufacturing site in Maumelle, AR. Before joining BEI Angela served as Factory Manager at Caterpillar. She comes to Quantic with experience in heavy industrial manufacturing operations in the aerospace, construction, semiconductor, and composites industries with a focus on Lean manufacturing and more recently Manufacturing 4.0. Angela is veteran of the US Air Force and holds a B.S. in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Steve Schmitt

Vice President of Engineering

Steve Schmitt joined Quantic BEI as Vice President of Engineering in March of 2020. Steve joins us following his position as Senior Engineering Manager & Chief Engineer. Combined Steve has over 30 years of Engineering experience with leadership positions at Metro-Optix, Rockwell Collins, and most recently L3-Harris.

Mr. Schmitt holds a BSEE from Oklahoma State University and an MSEE from Southern Methodist University.

Stacy R. Shilling

Vice President of Finance

Stacy R. Shilling was named Vice President of Finance in 2022 to oversee all aspects of finance, accounting, information technology, and facilities operations. She was promoted from Controller and has previous senior financial and governmental contract leadership experience within aviation, healthcare, and the public accounting industries. Beginning her career at Ernst & Young, Stacy served on the BEI audit engagement for three years. She holds a BA with distinction in Business & Economics from Hendrix College and has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant for over 30 years. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Arkansas Society of CPA’s and has served as Treasurer for several local nonprofit organizations.
